Diploma Trained Educator

Campsie, 37.5 hours/week


CASS Care Ltd is a multi-disciplined community services provider active in the provision of a comprehensive range of social welfare services, catering the needs from cradle to seniors, including child care, aged care, settlement and health, vocational and disability services and many more community-based services. We are seeking enthusiastic and highly skilled person to fill the above position in our child care services.


Position Summary:

This position requires you to work in CASS Family Day Care and to work with children aged 0-12 years in the long day care centre at Campsie.


Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Undertake the development and implementation of early childhood program that will contribute to the educational and developmental outcomes for children under care.

  2. Ensure continuous improvement in the provision of quality education and care services.

  3. Ensure the safety, health and wellbeing of children under care.

  4. Be responsible for providing professional support and training to FDC educators.

  5. Monitoring to ensure FDC educators acted in compliance with the statutory requirements.

  6. On behalf of Company, foster good relationships between the parents, staff members, FDC educators and other organizations.

  7. Ensure that the services are operated in a manner compatible to the aims of the Company.


Selection Criteria:


  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education;

  • Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management Training certificates;

  • Experience in working with multi-cultural, mixed aged groupings and team teaching for children from 0-12 years;

  • Mature and responsible attitude towards work;

  • Good interpersonal and supervision skills;

  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Mandarin/Cantonese;

  • Clear Working with Children Check and National Police Check;

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;

  • Committed, self-motivated and the ability to take on new challenges.


  • Good computer literacy;

  • Experience in child care setting.

Discount child care fees are available for CASS’s long day care, before and after school, and vacation care services.
