Assistant Disability Services Operations Coordinator

(Part-time)

CASS Care Ltd is a multi-disciplined community services provider active in the provision of a comprehensive range of social welfare services, catering the needs from cradle to seniors, including child care, aged care, settlement and health, vocational and disability services, and many more community-based services.

CASS Care is an approved National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) service provider and we are seeking for an enthusiastic and highly skilled person to fill the above position in our Disability Services Team.

 

Position Summary:

 

The Position is responsible for assisting in developing outcome focused disability services for our participants in the Korean-speaking community by organising necessary supports to enable the participants to achieve their identified goals. The position is also responsible for supervising support workers and assist in monitoring overall service operations and ongoing development.

  

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Assist to work effectively and efficiently with participants and their families/ carers in developing individualised plans;

  • Assist to provide quality service coordination, staff supervision and support, as well as arranging training to the subordinates where appropriate;

  • Carry out administrative duties as required;

  • Comply with NDIS Practice Standards; and

  • Comply with WHS Regulations and Guidelines.

 

Selection Criteria:

Essential:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Social Science, Education, Leisure and Recreation, Welfare, Disability or other related disciplines;

  • Relevant knowledge on NDIS and experience working in disability services;

  • Experience in working with participants who would benefit from positive behavior support;

  • High level of interpersonal and networking skills;

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Korean;

  • Computer and electronic devices literate (Proficient with Microsoft Office package, Client Management System, Social Media etc.);

  • Valid police check certificate; and

  • Valid driver’s license and own vehicle.

 

Desirable:

  • Fluency in written and spoken Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin)
