Centre-Based Day Programs

CASS Centre-Based Day Programs support the ongoing development of each person through individually tailored opportunities. Our programs assist people with disability from CALD (culturally and linguistically diverse) communities to build essential skills that increase their independence, enable meaningful community participation, and help them achieve their personal goals.

Eligibility

  • People with disability
  • Individuals with relevant NDIS funding or funding from any other approved source

Service Fee

The service fee is set in line with government recommendations.

Services

Community Participation and Social Integration
  • We promote community integration and participation through a wide range of activities.
  • Participants regularly visit various locations such as national parks, shopping centres, swimming pools, activity centres (e.g., bowling, cycling), cinemas, and playgrounds.
  • Community outings also include trips to libraries, galleries, museums, and historical sites.​
Independent Skills
  • Our programs encourage personal development and enhance daily living skills.
  • We aim to build capacity in different areas, maximising independence and autonomy.
  • Through tailored educational, life, and vocational activities, we empower participants to live more independently.
Sports and Recreational Activities
  • Our programs are designed to meet the cultural and linguistic needs of people with disability from CALD communities.
  • We offer individualised support and a range of engaging activities to foster positive interests and provide new, exciting experiences.
  • Activities include:
    1. Culturally specific programs (e.g., cooking traditional dishes, cultural outings)
    2. Music and singing
    3. Creative arts and crafts
    4. Sports (e.g., table tennis, football, frisbee, bowling, ball games)
    5. Yoga and relaxation techniques
    6. Dancing
    7. Gardening
    8. Shopping and cooking sessions

We also provide access to individual and group therapeutic support tailored to meet each person’s needs.
