CASS Settlement Services Today
- Settlement Services: assist newly arrived Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese migrants with settlement concerns including housing, employment, education as well as health & welfare issues through face-to-face casework and referral services, hotline enquiry services and email (help@cass.org.au);
- Gambling Support and Domestic and Family Violence (DFV) Services;
- Information Sessions and Expos;
- Form Filling and Smart Devices Support;
- Tax Help Services;
- Youth Services and Activity Groups;
- Health Services: provide health information and resources to the community and promote healthy life lifestyles.
Highlights/Achievements of Settlement Services
- Delivered over 79,829 casework and referral services supporting housing, employment, education, social welfare, and health issues.
- Launched a telephone hotline and email enquiry service in July 2011, responding to more than 6,900 enquiries.
- Held over 1,510 settlement‑related information sessions covering health, housing, taxation, education, personal and road safety, election systems, legal matters, and welfare.
- Organised more than 175 English classes for newly arrived migrants, with over 2,700 students enrolled.
- Provided free form‑filling support through trained volunteers in Campsie, Parramatta, Hurstville, Riverwood and Rockdale. JP service was introduced in 2013. Over 10,990 people benefited from this service.
- Delivered Tax Help services in Campsie and Hurstville, serving more than 4,000 people.
- Organised 40 citizenship preparatory classes, attended by over 5,000 participants, and hosted more than 35 citizenship ceremonies, supporting approximately 5,500 people to become Australian citizens.

Youth Services
Youth Learning Support Services: provide learning assistance to young people (Year 6 to 10) from disadvantaged migrant families. It offers one-on-one mentoring with homework help, outside school learning opportunities, etc. Click here to download latest flyer.

Free Form Filling and Smart Devices Support
CASS arranges enthusiastic volunteers to provide free services for assisting needy migrants in navigating smart devices (e.g. mobile phone & tablet) , understanding daily correspondences and filling out simple forms.
Information Sessions & Expos
To help migrants access timely information, we provide a wide range of information sessions/workshops and organise various expos.
Our partners include: Australian Taxation Office (ATO) , Diabetes Australia, Energy & Water Ombudsman NSW, Legal Aid NSW, NSW Police Force , NSW Fair Trading, Relationships Australia, Services Australia, TAFE NSW

In conjunction with the Australian Taxation Office, CASS provides free Tax Help services during each tax season.
