Team Leader, Home Care Packages

(37.5 hours per week)


CASS Care Ltd is a multi-disciplined community services provider active in the provision of a comprehensive range of social welfare services, catering the needs from cradle to seniors, including disability, home ageing, residential aged care, child care, settlement and health, vocational and many more community-based services.


Position Summary:


The appointee of this position is to lead the Home Care Packages (HCP) Team in our Home Ageing Services Unit.  This person will be responsible for our HCP services, ensuring that it is providing high quality services in accordance with all Government requirements, service standards, as well as all policies and procedures, vision, mission, and goals of our organization.


Main Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Manage and lead effectively all aspects of the HCP services provided by our organisation;

  • Develop and enhance our existing HCP services and explore new business opportunities;

  • Maintain and develop a strong network with stakeholders;

  • Keep abreast of information, knowledge and various development and changes in the associated industry and arrange appropriate training and briefing for the Team to be conversant with the matters.


Selection Criteria:




  • Tertiary qualifications in Nursing, Health, or Social Science;

  • Demonstrated experience in Government funded home aged care programs for at least 2 years;

  • Demonstrated experience in working within financial budgets;

  • Strong supervisory and organisational skills;

  • Strong ability to prepare funding submissions and reports independently;

  • Strong ability in the development and implementation of quality improvement measures in accordance with service standards;

  • Strong understanding on the needs of people from culturally and linguistically diverse background;

  • Excellent command of spoken and written English, fluency in spoken Cantonese and Mandarin;

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, time management and computer skills;

  • Possess valid police check certificate or is able to obtain the certificates prior to employment;

  • Possess valid driver’s license and own vehicle.




  • Experience in clinical case management;

  • Experience in marketing and business management;

  • Experience in the use of Telstra Health software;

  • Ability to speak an additional Chinese dialect, or an Asian language, such as Korean or Vietnamese.


Salary and employment conditions for the above position is as per Enterprise Agreement. Salary packaging is available. Discount child care fees are available for CASS’s long day care, before and after school, and vacation care services.
