CASS Urges Community Generous Donations For Relieving Bushfires In NSW
Many parts of NSW are currently experiencing “disaster level” of bushfires which have already killed three persons and destroyed more than 150 houses. Schools in some areas have to be urgently evacuated with schools forced to close. Over 800 volunteer firefighters have been struggling to fight ruthless bushfires around the clock, and this hard work may last for weeks.
Thousands of people have been displaced and become homeless because of the bushfire. We can lend a helping hand to assist them overcoming the difficulties, making them feeling the care of the community.
CASS urges people in our community to donate generously to relevant agencies engaging in relief work of bushfire disaster. Donations can be made through the CASS Charity Trust Fund, an approved setup by the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) that any donation of $2 or more is tax-deductible. Every dollar you donate will go to the NSW Rural Fire Service. No administrative fee is levied by CASS as every dollar is significant to help the bushfire victims and support the volunteer firefighters at the frontline! Tax deductible donation receipts will be provided.
1. Hand over donations in person to CASS Head Office reception AT 44-50 Sixth Avenue, Campsie NSW 2194;
2. Mail donation cheque, payable to “CASS Charity Trust Fund”, by post to CASS at the address shown above;
3. Through bank Transfer, (Account Name: CASS Charity Trust Fund; BSB: 032063; Account Number: 603884; Remarks: Bushfire).
